Place is jumping. Must be the huge selection of lost Abbey and pizza port carlsbad. Something about the tornado sanfran anniversary. Moya drinking her very favorite IPA , hop15. I got Belgian, of course  Straffe Hendrick,bruges triple

Friday Happy Hour

The thought was to go to Green Flash greenflashbrew.com and then on to Mother Earth facebook.com/pages/Mother-Earth-Brew.../270932104803?. We made it to Green Flash then had to return to the roost.

Approaching the Green Flash Brewery is always a guess. You kind of never know who will be there. We always get the once over by the crew outside. But they're harmless if not partly toasted.

Not too bad today, but it was early, made 5 pm.But 4:20 had definitely come and gone for a few.

I love the tasting prices at Green Flash and was looking forward to the Summer Saison just released yesterday. Wasn't disappointed. 4.5% light and refreshing, spiced just right, wish we had some sun to go with Summer.

Had their Trippel also. They had a whole Belgian thing going, wish I had a chauffer so I could taste more!! Moya had the Le Freak. I think I had that one last week.

The Green Flash needs to make their tasting experience a bit more comfortable. Maybe a wall to lean on please.

Left with a bottle of Saison to go. The crowd outside didn't wave goodbye.

Looking Thru Foam

So Moya and I have been visiting brewpubs and breweries and beer bars here in San Diego County. We thought it would be fun to share our experience as it happens.

Well it just so happens we didnt go out tonight. Thought about going to Green Flash to taste their new Summer Saison, but couldnt get it together.

So I've got a Firestone Walker DBA in hand and its just fine. Till next time!
